About the Department

Diploma in Automobile Engineering is a three-year program focusing on key areas of automotive technology. Students learn the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and working principles of automobile systems such as engines, transmission, suspension, brakes, and vehicle electrical systems.

The automobile industry is rapidly evolving from Petrol/Diesel vehicles to Electric, Hybrid, and Autonomous technologies. The department trains students with practical skills in product design concepts, functional utility, and integrated technologies used in modern automobiles.

Eligibility & Admission

Eligibility typically requires Class 10 qualification (minimum 60% marks) from a recognized board. Admission is usually based on merit or entrance examinations as per applicable guidelines.

Industry Exposure & Student Development

For overall student development, the department organizes Guest Lectures, Technical Workshops, Soft Skills training, and Industrial Visits every semester to expose students to real-world applications. The department encourages leadership and supports student-focused technical programs.
