About the Department
Diploma in Automobile Engineering is a three-year program focusing on key areas of
automotive technology. Students learn the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and
working principles of automobile systems such as engines, transmission, suspension,
brakes, and vehicle electrical systems.
The automobile industry is rapidly evolving from Petrol/Diesel vehicles to Electric,
Hybrid, and Autonomous technologies. The department trains students with practical
skills in product design concepts, functional utility, and integrated technologies used
in modern automobiles.
Eligibility & Admission
Eligibility typically requires Class 10 qualification (minimum 60% marks) from a
recognized board. Admission is usually based on merit or entrance examinations as per
applicable guidelines.
Industry Exposure & Student Development
For overall student development, the department organizes Guest Lectures, Technical
Workshops, Soft Skills training, and Industrial Visits every semester to expose students
to real-world applications. The department encourages leadership and supports
student-focused technical programs.
